There are few industry events that drum up as much excitement and buzz as SXSW. It is the meeting ground for entertainment, tech and culture junkies to share and explore. The interactive programming tracks & festival are a must-have event for any brand or marketer looking to stay up to speed on the constantly evolving world and work of agencies and their clients.

In years past, gen.video has attended. We’ve had coffee with clients, chatted with bloggers over tacos and met clients for cocktails… and then spent the next week recuperating! The journey to Austin begins now… the SXSW Panel Picker officially opens today and voting accounts for 30% of the judging criteria for being selected to share during the SXSW Conference. As an influencer marketing platform, one that focuses on YouTube video and branded content, we thought we’d take a look behind the scenes to help brands, agencies and other marketers understand what it takes to work with influencers on a full scale video production.

But no one ever tells you what happens when the cameras are off. This panel looks at the planning, preparation and production efforts that go into pulling together an influencer collaboration at scale. We take you behind the scenes to show you what really goes into a YouTube influencer activation.
